Earl Thomas hints at retirement after reportedly suffering broken bone in leg
Seattle Seahawks Pro Bowl safety safety Earl Thomas suffered a broken bone in his leg Sunday night against the Carolina Panthers and is out indefinitely, NFL.com reported.
Thomas suffered the apparent injury in the second quarter and had X-rays in the locker room. After receiving the results, Thomas hinted at retirement on Twitter.
Thomas, one of the league's premier safeties, has been named to the Pro Bowl each of the past five seasons.
