Earl Thomas' barber makes cut for traveling squad to Super Bowl

You have to look good to play good, right? Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas is leaving nothing to chance for the Super Bowl. His barber -- who is also a favorite of several teammates -- is traveling to New York for the game to make sure Thomas' hair is well trimmed up as he prepares to play the Denver Broncos for the NFL's championship.

The barber's name is Mark Baysinger, and he actually lives 200 miles from Seattle, in Kennewick, Wash. But through a connection first forged with the Seahawks' Brandon Browner, Baysinger connected with other players, including helping Thomas make the crucial transition from dreadlocks to his current short style. The two have also become friends.

After Baysinger works his clipper magic on Thomas and whichever other Seahawk may need his tonsorial services, he will watch the Super Bowl in MetLife Stadium with a ticket from the team.

And should media sensation/cornerback Richard Sherman feel the sudden need to chop off his own dreadlocks, the Seahawks will have an expert on call.
