Eagles' rushing woes on display with epic stat from Sunday's games

Seven. That’s not a good number if you are a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. That’s the total number of rushing yards the team had in their week two loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

For all the pomp and circumstance that came with the signing of Demarco Murray away from Dallas in the offseason, that number is not sitting well with the team and everyone around them. It gets even worse when you look at the following stat from the NFL about which quarterbacks had a better rushing day than the Eagles’ entire team:

Congrats, Eagles … you rushing total was less than a player like Jay Cutler, who didn’t even play an entire game. Big Ben and Eli both lumbered for more yards than your entire team. If that isn’t the saddest part of Sunday’s loss, I don’t know what is.
