Eagles and Ravens to hold joint practices during camp
When training camp rolls in this summer, the Philadelphia Eagles will embrace the growing tradition practicing with another NFL team. Prior to their preseason Week 2 game with the Baltimore Ravens, the Eagles will welcome them in for joint practices. The Eagles do not take on the Ravens in the regular season in 2015, so the good news is that they won't be revealing anything important that can be used against them on a later date.
Eagles head coach Chip Kelly is a major proponent of the joint practice idea.
“I think the value that you get for every single player and every single coach in terms of what we’re doing - to get a chance to go against another scheme and another team - I think it’s really beneficial, as long as you and the other team are on the same page," head coach Chip Kelly said prior to last year's joint practices with the Patriots, according to Chris McPherson of Eagles.com.
You can rest assured that by the time this joint practice week rolls around, Eagles players will be eager to hit someone on another team.
