The Saints came out on top, 52-49, with a last-second field goal as both teams combined for a whopping 1,030 total yards of offense.
Heading into Sunday, Brees had eight touchdowns on the season through six games.
Brees has a five-touchdown game in three consecutive seasons and four of the last five. It’s also his second game with six touchdowns. In the opener of the 2009 season, he matched that total against the Detroit Lions.
