Donte Stallworth marks tragic anniversary with a sobering message

Donte' Stallworth made a horrible decision five years ago. It cost a life and landed the then-NFL wide receiver in jail after pleading guilty to DUI manslaughter.

The sentence was 30 days, of which Stallworth served 24.

Stallworth took to Twitter and Instagram Friday to tell people he hasn't forgotten Mario Reyes, the pedestrian hit and killed by the wide receiver's car in 2009.

"There's nothing I can do to reverse that day, but hopefully you guys will think of me and make better decisions than I did that morning," he wrote in his Instagram post caption. "You don't want to live with these regrets I have from my irrevocable decision... Trust me. #BeSmarter"
