EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) Buffalo's Anthony Dixon is starting at running back in place of the injured Fred Jackson, and wide receiver Percy Harvin is making his debut with the New York Jets.

Dixon gets the nod Sunday with Jackson inactive with a groin injury and C.J. Spiller possibly out for the season with an injured collarbone. Bryce Brown is also active for the first time this season.

Kraig Urbik replaces rookie Cyril Richardson at left guard after Kyle Orton was sacked five times against Minnesota. Wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (hamstring) is out.

Harvin, acquired from Seattle last week, will return kicks, but coach Rex Ryan was uncertain how much Harvin would play on offense, saying it would depend on how much of the playbook he picked up during the week.
