Right tackle LaAdrian Waddle also expects to return this Sunday, MLive.com reports. He had surgery to repair a torn ACL in his left knee eight months ago.
"If things go good this week, I think we’ll be able to go this week and I should be able to handle everything," Waddle said, via MLive.com. "Based on how this week of practice goes, yeah, (I should play.)"
No word yet on the statuses of injured right guard Larry Warford (ankle), linebacker DeAndre Levy (hip) and cornerback Darius Slay (ankle) for Week 2.
