Broncos' T.J. Ward just gave Raiders' receivers bulletin-board material

Amari Cooper led the NFL last week with 173 receiving yards, but Broncos safety T.J. Ward apparently isn't sweating Sunday night's showdown in Oakland.

Ward let the world know he thinks Cooper and Michael Crabtree, the Raiders' dynamic receiver duo, are good but not elite.

"I feel like they have two good receivers. I don't feel like they have two elite receivers," Ward told reporters Wednesday.

That's a bold statement, with both receivers on pace to top 1,000 yards and the teams playing for sole possession of first place in the AFC West. But if any team can back it up, it's the Broncos, who are No. 1 in defending the pass, allowing just 184 yards per game. So Ward is pretty secure in the knowledge that they won't be giving up 173 to Cooper.

But Ward acknowledged it's not just confidence he feels against the Raiders.

"We never liked the Raiders," Ward told reporters. "We just don't like them. You ever not like someone and you don't know why? We just don't like them."

Sunday night can't get here soon enough.
