Denarius Moore returns for Raiders vs. Chiefs

Published Dec. 15, 2013 3:33 p.m. ET

Wide receiver Denarius Moore will play for the Oakland Raiders against the Kansas City Chiefs after missing three games with a shoulder injury.

Moore was active Sunday but is listed as a backup behind Andre Holmes. Running back Darren McFadden missed his second straight game with an ankle injury and defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin was active one day after being promoted from the practice squad to take the place of safety Tyvon Branch. Branch was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a broken leg.

The Chiefs are without three starters for the game: linebacker Justin Houston (elbow), tackle Branden Albert (knee) and tight end Anthony Fasano (concussion, knee). Punt returner and backup receiver Dexter McCluster was also out with an ankle injury.
