Romo listed as questionable for Week 3

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo participated in limited practice Saturday and was listed as questionable for Monday night's game against the Redskins with a fractured rib.

Romo sustained the injury -- as well as a collapsed lung that has healed -- during last weekend's comeback win in San Francisco.

The Cowboys' leading wide receiver Miles Austin, meanwhile, is out with a hamstring injury, The Dallas Morning News reported. Austin had 14 catches for 233 yards and four touchdowns in two games this season.

Also listed as questionable were wide receiver Dez Bryant (thigh bruise), kicker David Buehler (groin) and running back Felix Jones (dislocated shoulder). Questionable means a player has a 50 percent chance of playing.

Should he take the field, Romo said he had a simple plan to counter Washington cornerback DeAngelo Hall's attempt to further injure his fractured rib -- just try to throw the ball in his direction, FOX Sports Southwest reported.

Hall said earlier in the week that he wanted to put his "helmet on whatever's hurt" in comments directed at both Romo and Jones.

When asked about Hall's comments, Romo said, "I'm sure I'll target whoever's targeting my ribs in the passing game.

"If he's blitzing, that means he's not covering. So we'll attack the guy he's covering."
