Can we just all go back to the first quarter of Sunday’s game? Everything seemed so simple then. The Cleveland Browns entered this week following another loss on the field, but a more crushing blow comes in the form of a tweet from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

There is little to explain when it comes to the Cleveland Browns’ 25-20 loss Sunday in their home opener against the Baltimore Ravens. The team simply collapsed after a fast start and proved to Browns fans that they continue to be experts at finding ways to lose.

The Cleveland Browns never seem to catch a break. After having a late-game drive ruined by a phantom taunting call on Terrelle Pryor and subsequently losing Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, news broke Monday that quarterback Josh McCown is out with a shoulder injury. This means rookie quarterback Cody Kessler is starting for the Browns in Week 3, making him the fifth starter in the last five games for the Browns.

Cody Kessler not only will be the Cleveland Browns’ third starting quarterback in three games this season, he is the fifth in the last five games going back to last season. That’s right. When Kessler starts on Sunday in Miami, he will be the fifth different Browns starting quarterback in five games.

The Minnesota Vikings had to deal with yet another injury in the 2016 NFL season, as star running back Adrian Peterson hurt his knee in the Vikings’ Sunday Night Football victory over the Green Bay Packers, 17-14. To kick off the season, the Washington Redskins have fallen to the last place in the NFC East with their second loss in as many games. After all, it was the quarterback that gave up an interception in the end zone and had a completion percentage of just 60.9 for the Week 3 matchup.

Randy Gregory has withdrawn his appeal of his 10-game suspension for violating the NFL’s Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse, a source with knowledge of the situation told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.
