The Cowboys lost a key component of their offensive line this offseason when right tackle Doug Free, who had been with the team since 2007, announced he was retiring. Dallas filled the hole on Friday, announcing the signing of free-agent lineman Byron Bell.

Bell missed all of 2015 after suffering a foot injury in OTAs, but started 72 games in five seasons before that, most recently for the Titans. The 28-year-old visited the Packers and the 49ers before agreeing to a deal with Dallas.
