Cowboys close to having Austin, Bryant together

Published Oct. 12, 2011 8:58 p.m. ET

Cowboys receivers Miles Austin and Dez Bryant participated fully in practice Wednesday, a promising sign that they are close to playing together again.

Dallas hasn't had its top two wide receivers in the same game since the season opener.

Austin, a Pro Bowl selection last season, has missed the last two games since he aggravated a hamstring injury at the end of regulation in the Week 2. Bryant missed that game with a bruised thigh, but has played through the injury since then.

Austin has 14 catches for 233 yards and four touchdowns. Bryant has 10 catches for 171 yards and three TDs.

With the Cowboys coming off their bye week, Austin and Bryant had more time to heal before Sunday's game at New England.
