Colts put 3 starters on inactive list against Jags

Published Dec. 29, 2013 11:59 a.m. ET

The Colts have put starting defensive linemen Ricky Jean Francois and Cory Redding and starting offensive lineman Mike McGlynn on the inactive list for Sunday's game against Jacksonville (4-11).

McGlynn's absence means Indianapolis (10-5) will start its sixth offensive line combination in six weeks.

Indy's other inactives are safety Sergio Brown, cornerback Sheldon Price, linebacker Daniel Adongo and offensive lineman Joe Reitz. All seven were listed on this week's injury report, and coach Chuck Pagano is giving his injured starters some extra rest before the playoffs begin.

Jacksonville deactivated starting linebacker Geno Hayes and starting cornerback Dwayne Gratz, running back Delone Carter, center Patrick Lewis, tight end Andy Reisner, defensive end Gerald Rivers, and quarterback Ricky Stanzi. J.T. Thomas replaces Hayes and Will Blackmon replaces Gratz in the lineup.
