Cleveland fans poke fun at their own sports misery with new card game

The Cleveland Browns are known for having one of the most loyal fanbases in all of pro sports, but Sundays at FirstEngery Stadium have become a form of torture for the passionate fans.

This year's 2-10 squad is arguably the worst since the franchise was re-launched in 1999, after moving to Baltimore in '95. Things have gotten so bad at the bitterly dubbed "Factory of Sadness" that fans are attending games with the sole purpose of calling out the current regime.

Sadly, Cleveland's sports misery isn't limited to football. Their fans have suffered through decades of heartbreak from all of their pro teams.

But now, those fans can pay their respects to infamous moments like "The Drive," "The Fumble" and "The Shot" in a lighthearted, fun way -- with Cleveland Drinks: The Ohio Party Game.

The game, which is full of sports references and Cleveland pop culture, is described as a fun, fast-paced card game that is easy to play. Players take turns picking up cards from the pile and follow whatever Cleveland-specific drinking instruction it might command.

The sports-related cards will surely bring back some unsettling memories, but the jokes are spot-on.

While the game takes jabs at the Cleveland sports teams, the creators are suffering fans themselves, and say it's all in good fun.

Brown is known for his numerous "Angry Browns Fan" videos, including the popular Christmas carols, which have garnered nearly 700,000 hits, collectively, on YouTube.

Cleveland Drinks: The Ohio Party Game is for sale at Cledrinks.com.

Polk Jr. has written and performed various sketch comedy pieces surrounding Cleveland sports misery, including his "Factory of Sadness" rant. He is a weekly contributor on FOX8-WJW, where he can often be seen impersonating Browns owner Jimmy Haslam.
