After converting his second field-goal attempt against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Chicago Bears kicker Robbie Gould became the franchise’s all-time leading scorer with 1,118 career points. The Bears congratulated Gould for the historic achievement on their official Twitter account.

Gould passes former Bears kicker Kevin Butler (1985-1995) on the team’s all-time scoring list. Hall of Fame running back Walter Payton is the highest-ranked non-kicker on the list with 750 points (third overall).

Gould, 33, joined the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Penn State in 2005 and has converted 86.0 percent of his field-goal attempts since then. He was a one-time All Pro (2006) but is still on top of his game, after earning an NFC Player of the Week award against the Oakland Raiders earlier this season.

The Bears highlighted some of Gould’s biggest moments in a short tribute video, shared on their Twitter account.
