Ray Lewis: Teams can smell weakness in Cam Newton

Cam Newton has been hit high, hit low and hit often this season, and the reigning MVP feels the officials haven’t thrown the flag for him enough.

Cam went so far as to say ‘"I don’t even feel safe", and talked to Roger Goodell about it this week.

To most people, that’s a perfectly reasonable response. To the great white sharks of the NFL’s defenses, that’s blood in the water.

"Defenses smell that type of weakness," Lewis said on "Speak For Yourself" on Wednesday. "And when you let me know that exists … we huntin’ him!"

Jason Whitlock had quite an illustrative take on the subject, involving a dream he has in which … he’s laying in a bed full of Cheetos.

Yup. Watch the video below for that beauty.
