Bills hope to have Johnson on Sunday

Published Nov. 18, 2011 12:00 a.m. ET

Buffalo Bills receiver Stevie Johnson should be ready to play in Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins, but is still being listed as questionable because of a shoulder injury.

Johnson hurt his shoulder in Sunday's loss to Dallas, and didn't practice on Wednesday. He returned Thursday, and coach Chan Gailey seemed optimistic on Friday that Buffalo will have its top receiver against the Dolphins (2-7).

The Bills (5-4), though, may be without starting strong safety George Wilson, who hurt his neck in the Cowboys game. Wilson, who leads the team with four interceptions, didn't practice all week.

Receiver David Nelson (ankle) is probable, but left tackle Demetrius Bell (shoulder) and defensive end/linebacker Spencer Johnson (calf) are both questionable.
