London Uber drivers trash-talk Bills WR Robert Woods for being 'soft'

The Buffalo Bills are a long way from home this week as they're set to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in London on Sunday. While there still may be fans of the Bills across the pond, there aren't nearly as many as there are in Buffalo. In fact, there probably aren't even as many football fans as there are Rugby fans in England.

Wide receiver Robert Woods got a taste of that this week.

"We were riding around with a couple Uber drivers who said we were soft because we wear pads," Woods said with a laugh, via Matthew Fairburn of Syracuse.com "So I guess we have to put on a show Sunday."

Now Woods has another source of motivation: proving to those Uber drivers that football players are not soft.

In addition to being trash-talked by the Uber drivers, the Bills were surprised -- and probably terrified -- by cars driving on the wrong side of the road. Just one of the many adjustments players have to make when playing overseas.

"I knew this was going to happen, but it caught me off guard," tackle Cyrus Kouandjio said. "Driving on the wrong side of the street. There were a few times I thought I was going to have a car accident. I was like, 'Taxi, what are you doing?' Just crossing the street, make sure you look both ways."
