Bryan Johnson released by the Buffalo Bills

Published Jun. 23, 2015 8:09 p.m. ET

Even though the players have left for their summer vacations ahead of training camp in July, the Buffalo Bills still continued to adjust their 90-man roster ahead of camp.

On Tuesday, the Bills announced that they released defensive end Bryan Johnson from the team. Johnson was an undrafted free agent following the 2014 NFL draft out of West Texas A&M. Johnson did not appear in a game for the Bills last season as he was on the practice squad.

It was an uphill battle for Johnson from the start as he was behind Jarius Wynn, Alex Carrington, Manny Lawson and Michael Buchanan on the depth chart at defensive end.
