Browns’ Cribbs hurts foot

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Joshua Cribbs has been taken to

the locker room with an injury to his right foot.

Cribbs got hurt on a 37-yard reception in the second quarter of

Cleveland’s game against the New York Jets. After catching a short

pass from Colt McCoy, Cribbs ran to New York’s 5-yard line. He

appeared to get injured on the tackle.

Cribbs spent a few minutes being checked by Browns medical

personnel before walking slowly to the locker room.

The team said his return is questionable.

Shortly after Cribbs went down, Browns linebacker Scott Fujita

limped to the locker with an apparent injury to his left knee.

Fujita, who signed as a free agent with Cleveland after winning a

Super Bowl with New Orleans, has been one of the Browns’ top

defensive players.

Also, Browns cornerback Sheldon Brown left with a shoulder

injury. He got hurt while tackling Jets wide receiver Braylon

Edwards.
