Broncos vs. Chiefs: Wednesday's Week 12 Injury Report
The Denver Broncos are looking to start their first game out of the bye week strong as they take on the Kansas City Chiefs. I look at the injuries for both teams in the first injury report.
For sole position of second place in the AFC West (as of right now), for the fifth seed in the AFC Playoffs, and more importantly for bragging rights.
The Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs will play under the lights at Mile High on Sunday Night Football. After a weekend with the family for Thanksgiving, Broncos Country and Chiefs Kingdom fans will tune in to this all important showdown.
28 days later, these two teams will square off at Arrowhead Stadium on Christmas Day. Nothing like spending two of the biggest holidays of the year with your AFC West rivals.
But turning attention to the post-Thanksgiving showdown, this will be a big game so all hands will have to be on deck for both teams.
Therefore, I will check out the injury report for both teams.
More from Predominantly Orange
For the visiting Chiefs, the biggest injury to report is the status of Marcus Peters. He missed the game against the Bucs due to a hip pointer.
However, he did practice today. So, that will be an injury we all will keep an eye on.
Kansas City saw Dee Ford (hamstring), Charcandrick West (concussion), Jeremy Maclin (groin), Derrick Johnson (soreness), Dontari Poe (knee), and Kendall Reyes (knee) not practice on Wednesday due to injury.
For the Denver Broncos, Aqib Talib (back) and Derek Wolfe (elbow) returned to practice on Wednesday. Even Matt Paradis (hip) practiced.
However, it was noted that Paradis will miss Thursday’s practice to give him a rest day.
The Broncos only had long-snapper Casey Kreiter (calf) on the report. He was limited in practice.
Keep it here at Predominantly Orange as we keep you updated on the injury report. And hope that all of you in Broncos Country have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
