Bills sign Browns, release Roberson from secondary

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) The Buffalo Bills released cornerback Marcus Roberson from the 53-man roster and signed safety Sergio Brown on Wednesday.

Brown has played in 86 career games with 15 starts and has 106 tackles, 2 1-2 sacks, one interception, 10 passes defensed and four fumble recoveries. He spent last season with the Jaguars.

The team signed long snapper Reid Ferguson to the practice squad. Ferguson originally joined the Bills on May 2 as an undrafted free agent from LSU. He was released on Aug. 30.

Kicker Marshall Morgan has been released from the practice squad.
