Bills 1st blackout of season vs Dolphins

Published Dec. 19, 2013 2:35 p.m. ET

The Buffalo Bills game will not be televised in their area Sunday when they take on the Miami Dolphins after failing to reach a sellout.

It's the first blackout for the Bills this season. Buffalo came close to a blackout twice, but owner Ralph Wilson Jr. purchased the remaining tickets for games against Cincinnati (Oct. 13) and the New York Jets (Nov. 17).

As of Wednesday, the Bills had 16,000 tickets available.

The Bills did not sell out two home games in 2012 and three home games in 2011.
