Bengals DT Tank Johnson out vs Steelers

Published Nov. 8, 2010 7:19 p.m. ET

Bengals defensive tackle Tank Johnson was inactive for a game Monday night against Pittsburgh, hobbled by a sprained knee.

Johnson was hurt late in a 22-14 loss to Miami last week and didn't practice during the week. He was listed as questionable heading into the game. Pat Sims was expected to make his first start of the season and 15th in a three-year career.

The Steelers got defensive end Brett Keisel back from a hamstring injury that sidelined him for the past two games. Defensive end Aaron Smith didn't practice last week and was inactive with an injured triceps.
