– DALLAS – MLB owners wrap up their meetings, with fan safety and protective netting a major topic of discussion. Commissioner Rob Manfred will give an update.

– PARIS – Two high-profile Champions League matches – Real Madrid vs. Barcelona and Juventus vs. AC Milan – crystalize the fears surrounding this week's games following the Paris attacks.

– PHILADELPHIA – The NFL will ask a U.S. appeals court to uphold a potential $1 billion plan to settle thousands of concussion lawsuits filed by former players.

– LOS ANGELES – Stephen Curry and the NBA champion Golden State Warriors put their 12-0 record on the line against Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers. Game starts 10:30 p.m.

– TAMPA, Fla. – The New York Rangers, tied for the most points in the league, go for their 10th straight victory when they play the Tampa Bay Lightning. Game starts 7:30 p.m.

– BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – No. 14 Indiana faces its strongest early test in the college basketball season when it hosts unbeaten Creighton. Game starts 7 p.m.

– It doesn't always take an elite quarterback to win games in the NFL. The Broncos, Vikings and Colts are in first place despite poor to mediocre play from their QBs.

– FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – Julio Jones is on pace for one of the greatest receiving years in NFL history. If the Atlanta Falcons star can keep it up, he might just break Marvin Harrison's record.

– CLEMSON, S.C. – The defense for No. 1 Clemson is slumping heading into Saturday's game against Wake Forest. The players and coaches, however, dismiss any suggestion the unit is wearing down.

– LONDON – Roger Federer, already set for a place in the semifinals, defeats Kei Nishikori during round-robin play at the ATP Finals and eliminates his opponent. Novak Djokovic faces Tomas Berdych.

– NAPLES, Fla. – Lydia Ko and Inbee Park headline the field at the CME Group Tour Championship, the season's final event and one that will decide the LPGA's biggest honors for 2015.

– ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – Davis Love III plays with son Dru, a junior at the University of Alabama, in the opening round of the RSM Classic at Sea Island. Zach Johnson is the highest-ranked player in the field.
