Ravens QB Joe Flacco returns to practice after day of illness
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco has returned to practice one day after missing workouts with an illness.
Flacco said on Thursday that he had picked up a stomach virus from his son.
He says, ”I feel better,” adding that he ”didn’t want to get the whole team sick.”
Flacco, who has never missed a start, says he could not recall missing a practice before, either. Flacco is expected to make his 99th straight regular-season start Sunday when the Ravens play at Cleveland.
Flacco completed 21 of 29 passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns to lead the 1-1 Ravens to a 26-6 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers last week.
