Levine Toilolo: 'It's really just pitch and catch out there'

Levine Toilolo doesn't seem like the type of guy to beat around the bush. While he knows he had multiple drops last season, his focus this year is simply getting back to the basics, as Vaughn McClure of ESPN explains.

"I mean, little things: taking my eyes off the ball and trying to get up the field before you secure the catch," said Toilolo, who had three drops alone in a loss to the Chicago Bears. "It's simple things like that. This offseason, I tried to get back to the basics. It's really just pitch and catch out there."

While the Falcons brought in both Jacob Tamme and Tony Moeaki in free agency, it seems that Toilolo isn't ready to give up on the battle just yet. He had a strong showing in Atlanta's first preseason game, catching three balls for 36 yards.

Toilolo is absolutely a name to watch moving forward in the preseason and training camp. His role in the offense is still unknown, but it should be carved out soon enough.
