Falcons agree to deal with DE Edwards

The Falcons are beefing up, signing defensive end Ray Edwards to a five-year deal, FOXSports.com has learned.

Atlanta provided an attractive landing spot for the former Vikings standout, as he will now be able to rush the passer opposite veteran John Abraham. The deal comes on the same day the Falcons agreed to a five-year contract with offensive tackle Tyson Clabo.

Edwards played five seasons for Minnesota, finishing with 29.5 sacks and 139 total tackles.
