Iupati was in the Cardinals’ locker room after the game and was traveling back to Arizona with the team.
The Cardinals said a few minutes after the play that he had a neck injury but had feeling and movement in his extremities when he left the stadium. The team later said a CT scan and MRI at the hospital both came back normal.
Iupati was hurt on a first-and-10 run by Chris Johnson. Iupati was pulling on the play and lowered his head and he collided with Seattle’s Kam Chancellor. Iupati immediately fell to the turf, where he was attended to by medical personnel from both teams.
