Amendola back for Patriots, Talib still sidelined

Published Oct. 27, 2013 1:35 p.m. ET

New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola is active after missing one game with a concussion and groin injury, while cornerback Aqib Talib is out for the second straight game with a hip injury.

The Miami Dolphins activated newly acquired offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie for Sunday's game, hoping he can improve their weak pass protection. They acquired him from the Baltimore Ravens on Monday.

The Patriots are without starting defensive tackle Tommy Kelly for the third consecutive game because of a knee injury. Also missing are offensive lineman Chris Barker, linebacker Steve Beauharnais, defensive end Jake Bequette, wide receiver Josh Boyce and running back Leon Washington.

Inactive for the Dolphins are cornerbacks Will Davis and Jamar Taylor, quarterback Pat Devlin, running back Mike Gillislee, guards Dallas Thomas and Danny Watkins and tackle Will Yeatman.
