Aldon Smith reportedly entering rehab following controversial video

Aldon Smith reportedly has entered rehab after a video shared on social media raised questions about whether the troubled Oakland Raiders linebacker has violated the NFL's drug and conduct policies again.

Smith denied he was the man in the video who appeared to be smoking marijuana. However, the NFL reportedly is investigating, and Smith, who's already suspended since last November for a substance-abuse violation, checked into rehab for a second time, according to multiple reports.

Smith has had a hard time staying out of trouble. He was let go by the San Francisco 49ers after multiple DUI arrests before signing with the Raiders and picking up 3.5 sacks in nine games last season.

Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie said the team won't "bail on" Smith, while coach Jack Del Rio said he hopes to have him back by November but acknowledged Smith "needs to get his life in order."

"As a teammate and friend, the only thing I can tell him is anything he needs, let me know and I'll have his back," Raiders fullback Marcel Reece told ESPN. "If someone needs rehab, then that's exactly what they need and I pray for Aldon that he gets any and all help that he needs. All football aside, just want him to get help if he needs it. And when all is said and done and he's ready to come and join this team, as a team we're going to welcome him back and we're going to win a championship. That's what our goal is. But as a man and as a friend, we just want to help him and pray for him and do anything we can to help him if he needs it."
