Nick Foles ties NFL record with 7 touchdown passes

By Andy Nesbitt,

Well, who saw this coming?

Probably nobody.

We’re talking about Philadelphia Eagles QB Nick Foles throwing seven touchdown passes against the Raiders on Sunday – all before the start of the fourth quarter.

UPDATE: Watch all 7 TD passes right here.

Eagles coach Chip Kelly pulled Foles in the fourth quarter, so we didn’t get a chance to see history be made.

Then there’s this:

Let’s take a look at each of his TD passes.

1. Foles’ unbelievable day started with a simple 2-yard TD toss to tight end Brent Celek:

2. Then in the second quarter he found WR Riley Cooper for a 17-yard score:

3. Later in the second he hooked up with Cooper again, this one on a nice 63-yard TD:

4. He then threw his third TD of the second quarter when he found rookie tight end Zach Ertz for a 15-yard TD:

5. Foles came out firing after halftime, as he he found LeSean McCoy for this relatively easy 25-yard score:

6. He then found DeSean Jackson for this nice little 46-yard TD:

7. Foles finished up his day with a five-yard strike to Cooper:

Yup, Foles had a pretty good day. And yup, fantasy owners everywhere aren’t pleased with their decision to leave him on their bench.
