Bill Belichick on beating Colts: ‘We’re on to Seattle’

Bill Belichick is always a man of many words.

The Patriots beat the brakes off the Colts on Sunday, 45-7, to win the AFC title and advance to play the Seahawks in the Super Bowl.

So what did Belichick have to say after clinching his sixth Super Bowl berth as the New England head coach?

On live TV, Belichick said: "We’re on to Seattle."

Then he walked away from Jim Nantz on the podium at Gillette Stadium. Belichick, of course, with his little quip, was referring to his infamous "we’re on to Cincinnati" press conference after the Pats were routed by the Chiefs to fall to 2-2.
