Turay (neck) was a full participant in Friday's practice.
Turay was limited in Wednesday's practice with a neck issue, but it seemingly wasn't a major problem. The 24-year-old was also forced to miss Sunday's game against the Titans with that injury. Now healthy, Turay will seemingly slot back into his depth/rotational role in the Colts' defensive front.
Turay (neck) was downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Titans.
This shouldn't come as much of a surprise considering Turay was listed as doubtful following Friday's practice. Ben Banogu is expected to see an increase of snaps as a result.
Turay is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game versus the Titans.
While this is discouraging news, coach Frank Reich said Turay would be a game-time decision Sunday, according to Stephen Holder of The Athletic. That's definitely more positive news than a doubtful designation, but it's still tough to decipher until the inactives are reported at 11:30 P.M. EDT. If Turay plays, he'll likely have a large role in the pass rush, looking to pick up where he left off in the season opener with a sack and a forced fumble.
Turay (neck) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice.
Turay battled a shoulder injury ahead of the season opener, but he still was able to play and performed well in the pass rush with one sack. His absence from practice Wednesday isn't a good sign for his chances to play Sunday versus the Titans, and the Colts are already struggling with depth on the defensive front with Jabaal Sheard (knee) sitting out.
Turay (shoulder) had two tackles, a tackle for a loss and two QB hits in Sunday's loss at the Chargers.
He also added two QB hurries and a forced fumble, according to Pro Football Focus. He played just 23 of the defense's 63 snaps as he may have been eased into action after dealing with a shoulder injury much of training camp.
