Impact Landry paced the Browns in receptions, receiving yards and targets while serving as Week 18 starter Case Keenum's primary security blanket. The veteran possession receiver battled some injuries in 2021, but he finished the campaign with a solid 25-325-2 line over his last five games. Assuming the Browns opt to hold on to the 29-year-old for 2022 despite his sizable salary, he figures to once again serve as an important component of the air attack, albeit with a likely new No. 1 receiver.

Tops team in targets Landry caught four of 10 targets for 43 yards in Monday night's 26-14 loss to the Steelers. He also rushed once for six yards.
Impact Landry went for a 20-yard gain on Cleveland's second offensive play, but his remaining targets weren't as fruitful. While leading the Browns in the category, however, he put together his third game with double-digit targets over his last four appearances. That high involvement at least gives Landry a decent floor heading into Week 18's finale versus the Bengals.

Impact Landry could have done more but was weighed down by the fluctuating accuracy of Baker Mayfield, who threw two of his four interceptions while targeting Landry -- one badly overthrown, the other badly underthrown. While the Steelers in Week 17 aren't an obviously better matchup for Landry in terms of coverage quality, their poor run defense might allow the Browns to boost Mayfield's efficiency as a passer by leaning on the play-action pass to make for easier throws than the ones Mayfield missed Landry on in this game. Whatever way the game goes for Mayfield, Landry is locked in as the Browns' lead target.
