Ravens stock report: Mark Andrews, James Proche, Isaiah Likely, Michael Pierce and more Lamar Jackson returned, pass catchers stepped up and the running back depth looks good. A few need to make bigger moves, though.

Competing for snaps in offseason Proche faces added significance to his offseason work this year after the trade of Marquise Brown, Jeff Zrebiec of the Athletic reports.
Impact The Ravens have yet to make a splash in the wideout market after trading Brown to the Cardinals in exchange for the 23rd overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, suggesting the team has confidence in the group of young pass catchers already on the roster. Along with Devin Duvernay and Tylan Wallace, Proche appears to have an opportunity to solidify a decent role ahead of the 2022 campaign with his performances during OTAs and other offseason workouts. However, Baltimore also brought in six undrafted rookie free agents that'll also be competing for snaps behind Rashod Bateman, whose role as the de facto No. 1 appears set in stone.
MAY 23, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Shows improvement in Year 2 Proche finished the season with 16 catches for 202 yards on 20 targets.
Impact The second-year wideout moved into a larger role within the offense after playing a mere 25 offensive snaps as a rookie and recording one reception. Proche showed the skills that made him effective in college, running sharp routes and demonstrating good hands by catching 80 percent of his targets and dropping zero passes. Baltimore will likely go into next season with Marquise Brown, Rashod Bateman and Devin Duvernay as its top three receivers and Proche will have a chance to slot in as the No.4. However, 2021 draft pick Tylan Wallace could improve and Baltimore could opt to mine for more receiving depth through free agency and the draft.

Won't play Sunday Proche (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Steelers, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Impact Proche was also inactive in Week 17 against the Rams. With the Ravens' wide receiver unit healthy, Proche will be the odd man out Sunday against the Steelers.
JANUARY 9, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Sitting after seven-catch game Proche (coach's decision) is a healthy inactive for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Impact Proche's placement on the inactive list is somewhat surprising after he enjoyed a career day in last week's loss to the Bengals, with the second-year wideout hauling in seven of eight targets for 76 yards. Baltimore's decision to hold out Proche and Miles Boykin is likely a sign that the team is more confident in the conditioning of Sammy Watkins, who was limited to just three snaps on offense last week in his return from the reserve/COVID-19 list. Meanwhile, rookie Tylan Wallace has been a core contributor on the Ravens' special teams units this season and has picked up more involvement in the offensive game plan in recent weeks, so he'll suit up as the No. 5 receiver while Proche and Boykin are in street clothes.

DECEMBER 26, 2021 • Associated Press
Quietly breaks out Proche caught seven passes for 76 yards on eight targets against Cincinnati on Sunday.
Impact Proche stepped up with Devin Duvernay (ankle) unavailable and enjoyed a breakout game in the process. He otherwise had just a 14-yard reception to his credit in the NFL, though Proche was a productive high-volume receiver at SMU in college. Proche is unlikely to project well outside of the slot and can't match the big-play ability of Duvernay, but a game like this is still a promising data point for Proche as a fringe prospect. It also gives reason to think he might stay involved if Duvernay misses the Ravens' Week 17 game against the Rams.
DECEMBER 26, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Inactive Thursday Proche (coach's decision) is inactive for Thursday's game at Miami.
Impact Proche played only three offensive snaps in Week 9 and is a healthy scratch for Thursday. Tylan Wallace and Miles Boykin will be the depth option at wide receivers for Baltimore.
NOVEMBER 12, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Held without a catch Sunday Proche was held without a catch on one target Sunday against the Chargers.
Impact Proche's playing time fell off a cliff Sunday, playing five offensive snaps after seeing 47 such snaps in Week 5 against the Colts. Marquise Brown, Rashod Bateman and Devin Duvernay saw the most snaps among Baltimore receivers. It appears Bateman's injection into the lineup could significantly impact Proche's playing time going forward.
OCTOBER 19, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Two grabs against Colts Proche caught both of his targets for a total of 15 yards Monday against the Colts.
Impact Proche's role was scaled back Monday after breaking out in Week 4 with five grabs for 74 yards against the Broncos. Mark Andrews and Marquise Brown fueled the pass-catching production that led to Baltimore's comeback and targets were few and far between for Proche, who did play a season-high 47 snaps. If Sammy Watkins is limited in Week 6, Proche could see a healthy dose of snaps Sunday against the Chargers.
OCTOBER 13, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Makes splash in Week 4 win Proche caught five of six targets for 74 yards in Sunday's 23-7 win over the Broncos.
Impact The 2020 sixth-round pick came into Sunday with only two catches in 17 career NFL games, but Proche stepped up as a reliable option for Lamar Jackson in Denver, tying Mark Andrews for the team lead in catches and finishing second to Marquise Brown in receiving yards. Proche is fighting with Devin Duvernay for the No. 3 spot on the Ravens' depth chart, and this performance may have given him the edge heading into a Week 5 tilt against the Colts.
OCTOBER 4, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Scores TD in blowout Proche caught each of his four targets for 52 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 37-3 preseason win over Washington.
Impact Proche put his stamp on the route with an emphatic contested catch in the end zone for a 20-yard touchdown in the third quarter. He's been one of the standouts of Baltimore training camp, but he's still getting most of his work with backups even as the Ravens deal with a number of injuries at wide receiver. Proche still seems more likely to get Week 1 touches on special teams, if at all, but it is possible he gets some snaps on offense, especially if Marquise Brown (hamstring) and/or Sammy Watkins (undisclosed) doesn't make it back for the opener.
AUGUST 29, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Resumes practicing Proche (back) is participating in Wednesday's practice, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Proche departed Monday's session early due to back cramps, and he skipped Tuesday's practice entirely, but he now appears healthy. He stands to resume handling increased opportunities in Baltimore's wide receiving corps, which is still operating without Marquise Brown (hamstring), Sammy Watkins (undisclosed), Rashod Bateman (groin) and Miles Boykin (hamstring).
AUGUST 25, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Ends practice early Proche suffered a back injury at Monday's practice, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Impact Coach John Harbaugh said Proche is dealing with cramps, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com. After Proche suffered his injury Monday, he remained on the field with a trainer but did not resume handling any reps. The Ravens are already operating without all of Marquise Brown (hamstring), Sammy Watkins (undisclosed) and Rashod Bateman (groin) in their wide receiver corps.
AUGUST 23, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Making waves early in camp Proche has impressed through the early part of training camp, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Impact The second-year receiver is doing exactly what he needed to in order to secure his roster spot after the Ravens added several wideouts during the offseason. Proche, who recorded just one catch as a rookie, reportedly has been the most productive receiver in practice thus far and is showing reliable hands and an ability to get open. At this rate, Proche should make the team, though he'd likely open the year well down the depth chart.

JANUARY 19, 2021 • BALTIMORERAVENS.COM
Quiet rookie season Proche played 25 offensive snaps as a rookie for the Ravens, recording one catch for 14 yards on three targets. He added 198 yards on punt returns.
Impact The SMU product did not crack the receiver rotation in his first season with the Ravens. Marquise Brown, Mark Andrews and Willie Snead combined for 60 percent of the targets, while players like Miles Boykin, Devin Duvernay and late-season addition Dez Bryant saw modest roles in the passing game. As a sixth-round pick with below-average athletic measurables, it's not entirely surprising that Proche was lightly used as a rookie. His 2020 season should be considered more of an incomplete grade than an outright disappointment. If Willie Snead is not retained, Proche could have a path to slot snaps in 2021. He did catch 111 passes and 15 touchdowns in his last collegiate season.

Healthy scratch Sunday Proche (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Impact The rookie sixth-rounder will sit out for the first time this season with Chris Moore (hand) back in the lineup. Through 14 games, Proche has mainly contributed in the return game. Either Marquise Brown or Willie Snead will fill in on punt return in Proche's place.
DECEMBER 27, 2020 • ROTOWIRE
Back from COVID-19 list The Ravens activated Proche (undisclosed) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Impact Proche will return from the COVID-19 list before actually being forced to miss any time. Count on the rookie sixth-round pick to serve as Baltimore's top punt returner versus the Jaguars on Sunday.
