Jerry Jones is sticking with Dak
He said: “We’re going to let this decision in this case make itself. Dak’s got a hot hand and we’re going to go with it.”
We say: Prescott's play has made this an easy decision, and that was before Tony Romo's ringing endorsement.

Mike Evans won't stand for Trump
He said: "I don’t want to, you know, disrespect the veterans or anything. The men and women who serve this country, I’m forever indebted to them. But the things that’s been going on in America lately, I’m not going to stand for that. When Ashton Kutcher comes out and says we’ve been punked, then I’ll stand again. But I won’t stand anymore.
"I said this a long time ago. When [Trump] ran, I thought it was a joke, and the joke continues. I’m not a political person that much, but I got common sense. And I know when something’s not right."
We say: Evans explained the reason behind his national anthem protest.
Todd Bowles doesn't know who he'll start at QB
He said: “We’ll evaluate that next week as we go forward. We have a bye week to evaluate it and I’ll see how Fitz feels. We’ll watch the film on Bryce and make a determination middle of next week. … I’m trying to play the best player right now and win ball games. It it’s Bryce, it’s Bryce. If it’s Fitz, it’s Fitz.”
We say: Neither is a great option. The Jets started Bryce Petty on Sunday, and managed to score just six points in a home loss to the Rams.

Gary Kubiak praises his special teams coach
He said: “Great call. It’s something you work on all the time. It’s risky to do, because if you touch somebody you know it’s a penalty. But there are situations in a game where … it’s worth the risk, and that was one of them.”
We say: Denver's incredible blocked extra-point was responsible for Sunday's win over the Saints.
Carson Palmer knows he needs to be better
He said: "I was just mad at myself for putting our defense in that situation and putting our team in that situation. I can't do that. They made the plays they needed to to get in the end zone, and we made the plays when we needed to to get back down there and get the field goal."
We say: Palmer threw two interceptions and lost a fumble to the dreadful 49ers, but came through on the drive to get his team in position for the game-winning field goal to avoid complete disaster.

Dirk Koetter on living and dying with Jameis Winston
He said: "Throw it away. Throw it away. Do anything. Don't take a safety.
"But, the thing about Jameis, Jameis is going to do some things that we don't plan for and he's going to do some things that sometimes I don't like. But Jameis is going to make some plays. That's who he is. ... You can't coach that out of him. He's a special player in that respect."
