There have been rumors about a Bradford for Foles trade for weeks, but Jeff Fisher continue to tell everyone that there was no truth beyond that rumor. Turns out that rumor was true and the Rams made a great trade. Not only did they get rid of a QB who can’t seem to stay healthy, they also saved $13 million in doing so. Foles will go into 2015 as the starting QB and it is his job to prove he can be the starter beyond next season.

Kenny Britt — Grade: A-
Britt came out of nowhere last year for the Rams and was one of their top receivers. The Rams made it a priority to bring him back and make him their No. 1 WR. Britt signed a tw-year deal worth $14 million. It may seem a bit expensive, but they only paid $1 million for him last year, so the Rams are getting Britt at a three-year bargain for $15 milllion. He will likely be Foles’ go-to guy. Look for him to put big numbers next season.

Lance Kendricks — Grade: B+
The Rams re-signed Kendricks to a four-year deal worth $18.5 million. Kendricks is one of the more versatile tight ends in the league, even lining up at full back at times. Kendricks caught five touchdown passes in 2014, and the Rams expect that number to increase next season. Kendricks will continue to be a red-zone threat and the Rams did a good job locking him up for another four years.

Nick Fairley — Grade: A-
Once Suh left the Lions, many assumed Fairley would just return to Detroit. Instead, St. Louis jumped in with a one-year offer worth $5 million. The Rams' defensive line was already stacked; now it may be one of the best in the NFL. Fairley is great at getting pressure on the QB but can also stop the run. He will be very motivated to have a great year in search for a long-term contract next season.
Akeem Ayers — Grade: B
The Rams continue to focus on their defense in signing Super Bowl champion linebacker Akeem Ayers to a two-year deal worth $6 million with $3 million guaranteed. He is a likely starter in St. Louis in their 4-3 scheme. Ayers is very athletic and can get to the QB. He does struggle at times against the run but will bring some experience the Rams sorely lack.
