The Pittsburgh Steelers ended the 2011 season with a loss in Denver in the playoffs. They opened the 2012 season with a similar result as Broncos defensive tackle Derek Wolfe (No. 95) and defensive end Elvis Dumervil (No. 92) hit Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in the fourth quarter at Sports Authority Field on Sept. 9. The Broncos and new QB Peyton Manning won 31-19.
