Dennis Pitta's career may never be the same again after two his injuries in two years, but he's giving it his all to get back on the field. He ran routes during OTAs but he wasn't medically cleared to participate in minicamp. Pitta will start the season on the physically unable to perform list.

Another offensive coordinator
Joe Flacco is working with his third offensive coordinator in three seasons following Gary Kubiak's departure to Denver. Marc Trestman joins the Ravens after a failed two-year head coaching stint in Chicago, and with similar West Coast roots, he'll largely keep Kubiak's system in place. Flacco is coming off the best statistical season of his career, so it would be wise of Trestman to limit his tinkering of the offense, particularly with a host of new weapons in his arsenal.

Who will be Flacco's No. 2 receiver?
Remember when Marlon Brown caught seven touchdown passes his rookie season in 2013? Brown was forced to take a back seat last year upon Steve Smith's arrival, but he was practically invisible in most games. Now that Torrey Smith has left for greener pastures, Brown will duke it out with fellow third-year wideout Kamar Aiken, who turned a lot of heads in minicamp. Breshad Perriman, the No. 26 overall pick, is also lurking.

Can Perriman and Williams make an impact?
There are no questions about No. 26 overall pick Breshad Perriman's wheels. His hands are another story. Perriman's drops were the biggest mark against him entering the draft, and he did little to quell the worries with four drops in one day of minicamp. Second-rounder Maxx Williams was the highest-graded tight end in the draft, but he'll have to outduel Crockett Gillmore for playing time, assuming Dennis Pitta doesn't make it back to start the season.

Filling the holes
The mainstay in the middle of the Ravens defense for so many years is gone. The secondary that was ravaged by injuries last season is healthy again, with a little added help via the addition of ex-Patriot Kyle Arrington. Can Timmy Jernigan mitigate the loss of Haloti Ngata and can Jimmy Smith and Lardarius Webb return to form? Those are the two biggest questions for a defense that is customarily among the best in the game.
