Three yards in winColeman had two carries for three yards and caught his lone target for no gain in Saturday's 20-12 win over the Cardinals.
ImpactJeff Wilson Jr. (23 touches for 204 total yards and a touchdown) dominated the backfield workload after Raheem Mostert (ankle) was placed on IR earlier this week. Neither Coleman (seven offensive snaps) nor Jerick McKinnon (10 snaps) were involved enough in the gameplan to warrant fantasy consideration. Head coach Kyle Shanahan normally deploys a two-back system, but with the playoffs out of sight, perhaps he wanted to see how the 25-year-old Wilson would handle a larger role instead of wasting snaps on Coleman. Given the results of the gameplan -- and the overall disappointing play of both veteran backups this year -- expect Wilson to dominate the touches against Seattle next week.

Just four touches on offenseMcKinnon logged 10 offensive snaps (18 percent) Saturday, registering one carry for four yards and three receptions for 28 yards in a 20-12 win over Arizona.
ImpactMcKinnon was still used in a reserve/receiving role even with Raheem Mostert (ankle) missing the contest. Instead of deploying his usual two-back attack, head coach Kyle Shanahan used Jeff Wilson Jr. (22 carries for 183 yards) as a bell cow with incredible results. We should see a similar backfield setup in the 49ers' season finale against the Seahawks on Sunday, giving McKinnon little to no fantasy value in Week 17.

Makes three more catches SaturdayArnold recorded three catches (on five targets) for 25 yards and lost a fumble during Sunday's 20-12 loss to the 49ers.
ImpactIt was anything but a clean game for Arnold, who coughed the ball up at the end of a 11-yard grab in the third quarter. He also was evaluated for a head injury during the contest but was able to return to the field. With Maxx Williams (ankle) sidelined, Arnold paced Cardinals tight ends by logging 36 of 82 offensive snaps, with Darrell Daniels handling 30 and Seth DeValve earning 19. Among that group, Arnold is consistently looked at by Kyler Murray (leg), but his four scores are offset by just three games of 50-plus yards, making him TD-dependent.

Posts career-high 50 yardsJohnson caught two of three passes for 50 yards during Saturday's 20-12 defeat to the 49ers.
ImpactJohnson did most of his damage on a 45-yard bomb late in the third quarter, which was the Cardinals' longest play of the game. He otherwise was quiet on his 20 snaps on offense behind DeAndre Hopkins (75 of 82), Larry Fitzgerald (71) and Christian Kirk (68). Having said that, Hopkins suffered an upper-body injury during the game and Fitzgerald's recent practice reps were capped due to a groin issue, so the state of Arizona's receiving corps is in some flux.

Sees eight targets Week 16Fitzgerald caught six of eight targets for 28 yards during Saturday's 20-12 loss to the 49ers.
ImpactKyler Murray attempted a season-high 50 passes, leading to Fitzgerald's second-most targets in a game on the season. Despite the elevated volume, Fitzgerald couldn't do much with the looks en route to his sixth outing of the campaign with fewer than 30 receiving yards. There could be a chance for even more reps Week 17 after DeAndre Hopkins emerged from the contest with an upper-body injury. However, Fitzgerald battled a groin issue in practice this past week, so his own health may be compromised at the moment.
