Durant pulled down eight rebounds and dished out seven assists, accumulating a plus-minus of +21 in his 35:17 of playing time. He added one steal. Durant struggled from 3-point range, coming up empty on all five of his attempts.
Impact: After averaging 30.8 points on a sizzling .608 field goal percentage over his first four games back from a strained calf, Durant delivered what would be called an off night by his standards. He still managed to make an impact in the rebound and assist columns, though, and chances are the four-time scoring champ will put up plenty of points in what should be a fast-paced game at Houston on Saturday.
News: Stephen Curry scored 30 points Wednesday on 10-of-18 shooting as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Chicago Bulls 119-112. Curry grabbed nine rebounds and had four assists, tallying a plus-minus of +21 in his 34:55 of playing time. He added one steal. Curry went 6 of 11 from 3-point range.

During that time frame Curry is averaging 31.6 points, 6.1 assists and 5.9 rebounds.

Impact: The Warriors announced that X-rays were negative, though Bell was spotted on crutches and in a walking boot when he returned from the locker room. With the rookie looking at a multi-game absence and Draymond Green still dealing with a sore shoulder, Kevon Looney could find himself in the starting lineup for Saturday's anticipated matchup with the Rockets.

Impact: It's Thompson's first 30-point effort since he dropped 33 on the Pelicans on Oct. 20, the second game of the season. The three-time All-Star has still been awfully steady in the time between, though he entered this contest in a mild slump by averaging 16.8 points and shooting 37 percent from beyond the arc over his previous five games.

Impact: Mirotic was on target in this one, much like he's been most of the time since returning from his infamous fight with teammate Bobby Portis. The stretch forward has now hit at least three triples in all three games since coming back from a recent illness, and he's averaging 19.3 points and 5.7 rebounds during that span as well.
News: Justin Holiday scored eight points Wednesday on 2-of-12 shooting as the Chicago Bulls lost to the Golden State Warriors 119-112. Holiday grabbed six rebounds and did not have an assist, accumulating a plus-minus of -22 in his 32:42 of playing time. Holiday went 2 of 8 from behind the arc.
Impact: Holiday was coming off a 25-point performance Monday against the Heat in which he finished 7 of 11 from 3-point range, but found the defending world champions to be a considerably tougher assignment. Though he's turned in a few duds of late, the well-traveled guard is still averaging a solid 15.3 points and 5.1 rebounds while shooting an excellent 47.5 percent (29 of 61) on 3-pointers in January.
News: Robin Lopez scored 16 points Wednesday, going 8 of 11 from the field, as the Chicago Bulls fell to the Golden State Warriors 119-112. Lopez pulled down four rebounds and did not have an assist, accumulating a plus-minus of -28 in his 22:06 on the floor.
Impact: Lopez is on a nice four-game scoring run, having averaged 14.5 points while shooting 60 percent or better from the field in each of those contests. The dependable center is now averaging a career-high 12.7 points per game for the season, though his rebounding and block numbers remain down from their usual levels.

Impact: LaVine had come out of the gate hot in his return from ACL surgery, knocking down 12 of 21 shot attempts while totaling 32 points over his first two games back. This is a reminder that there will still be some bumps in his recovery, but the good news is there's better things to come once his minute restrictions are eventually lifted.
News: Denzel Valentine scored 10 points Wednesday on 3-of-10 shooting as the Chicago Bulls fell to the Golden State Warriors 119-112. Valentine pulled down seven rebounds and had seven assists, tallying a plus-minus of +3 in his 25:46 on the floor. Valentine went 1 of 4 from 3-point range.
Impact: Valentine isn't shooting well, as he's made just 1 of 8 attempts from beyond the arc while averaging 8 points over his past three games. The second-year guard averaged 17.3 points in three games prior to this slump, however, and he's contributing a very useful 6.7 rebounds and 3.8 assists per outing so far in January.

Impact: Cousins has been held under 20 points in three straight games, the first time that's happened since late November. He's countered by dominating the glass and passing the ball with precision, having recorded at least 14 rebounds and and five assists in four consecutive outings. The fantasy demon continues to live up to his elite status by averaging 23.3 points, 14.6 rebounds, five assists, 1.9 blocks and 1.7 steals over an 11-game tear.

Impact: In perhaps the most shocking stat line of the night, Davis failed to score in double figures for only the second time this season - this after he followed up a 48-point, 17-rebound barrage against the Knicks on Sunday by racking up 45 points and 16 boards Tuesday at Boston. The back-to-back games clearly had an effect on the superstar forward, and odds are he won't repeat this performance next time out.
News: Darius Miller scored 17 points Wednesday, going 7 of 9 from the field, as the New Orleans Pelicans fell to the Atlanta Hawks 94-93. Miller grabbed three rebounds and added an assist, accumulating a plus-minus of +6 in his 30:02 on the floor. He added one steal. Miller went 3 of 4 from 3-point range.
Impact: The 3-point specialist broke out of a cold spell, as he had gone 4 of 18 from beyond the arc over his previous five games. This is only the second time in Miller's last 11 outings that's he scored in double figures, so he's still a very risky bet for fantasy success.

Holiday grabbed four rebounds and dished out four assists, tallying a plus-minus of -4 in his 37:22 of playing time. He added one block. Holiday went 2 of 4 from behind the arc.
Impact: Holiday did have a six-game run with multiple steals end, but he's now averaging 25.3 points while shooting a stellar 61.3 percent - including 9 of 18 from 3-point range - over his last four outings. The underrated guard has been stuffing the stat sheet in other areas as well, having recorded eight straight games with at least four rebounds and five in a row with four or more assists.

Impact: The rookie had seen his playing time decrease lately, but he's back to playing around 25 minutes a night and producing when he's on the court. Collins will attempt to deliver his first three-game run of double-digit scoring efforts since Dec. 20-23 when the Hawks host Chicago on Saturday.
News: Dennis Schroder scored 13 points Wednesday, going 4 of 16 from the field, as the Atlanta Hawks topped the New Orleans Pelicans 94-93. Schroder pulled down three rebounds and dished out 15 assists, accumulating a plus-minus of +2 in his 33:54 on the floor. He tacked on two steals. Schroder went 3 of 9 from behind the arc.
Impact: A mixed bag of a performance for Schroder, who matched a career high for assists to offset a poor shooting effort. The talented young point guard hasn't had too many off nights during a 12-game tear in which he's averaged 21.8 points and 7.1 assists, plus he's raised his steal numbers with nine over his past five outings.
News: Tyreke Evans scored 23 points Wednesday on 9-of-21 shooting as the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the New York Knicks 105-99.
