Welcome to Views from OKC, Thunderous Intentions’ daily roundup of the best OKC Thunder news across the web.New to Views from OKC? Glad to have you here, and I hope you’ll make this a daily destination. Well, let’s get started!

Suns travel to Oklahoma City for a little showdown

“The first matchup between the Thunder and the Suns game in just the third game of the season, the Thunder battled all night and into overtime before Russell Westbrook and his compatriots took care of business and earned a tough victory. In its assessment of Phoenix’s play and its own strengths and weaknesses, the Thunder pointed out that transition defense and defensive rebounding will be two of the biggest keys.”

This one is going to be fun. But that’s because I will finally be in Chesapeake Energy Arena for the first time. Basketball-wise, this should still be a fun game though. The Suns have a bounty of talented guards, and if Victor Oladipo can’t play (please no) the Thunder could struggle. When OKC loses this year, they lose multiple games in a row; hopefully I’m a good luck charm.

Victor Oladipo was a singer in a past-life

“The black brace to protect his right wrist clashed against his Christmas-themed outfit, but it didn’t matter. Oladipo was at The Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center singing Christmas carols and visiting with patients on the Thunder’s off day.”

Everything about Oladipo is wonderful. The way he plays basketball. The way he sings. His Dabbing Santa sweater. We need this guy to come back tonight (mostly so I can watch him live) but also because the Thunder are truly awful without him. Russ needs his Robin back ASAP. On a completely separate note, how come it took him coming to Oklahoma City for everyone to realize he had this talent? Shame on you for keeping this a secret Orlando.

Looking at trade restrictions through the rest of the season

“Russell Westbrook and James Harden, two early season MVP candidates who renegotiated their contracts this summer, are not eligible to be traded for six months from the date of their signings.”

Russ is the only player mentioned in this article, but these dates are extremely important for the Thunder. OKC seems to be in every trade rumor; Cam Payne, Enes Kanter, Joffrey Lauvergne, Kyle Singler…basically every player not named Russ, Oladipo and Adams have been in trade rumors. Knowing Sam Presti, everyone is on the table and these dates tell you when certain players will be available to trade.
