The Cavaliers and the Warriors have faced each other in the NBA Finals for two years straight, and another meeting at the end of this season isn't at all out of the question.
These teams are getting to know each other very well, and with that familiarity comes a certain level of contempt. Draymond Green said earlier this season that he wants to “annihilate” the Cavs if that third meeting in the Finals ends up taking place, and Cleveland's Iman Shumpert took a shot back at the Warriors when reminded of this remark in an interview with Complex.
“He should. We supposed to hate them, and they supposed to hate us. It’s OK. They supposed to take cheap shots at us. They’re gonna hate us, fam. That’s what sports is. It’s great. I love every bit of it. I’m glad he said that ’cause we gon’ bust they ass, too. You need to type that up: We gon bust your ass. Period.”

Shumpert made it clear, however, that it's all in good fun.
The Warriors and the Cavaliers have two meetings on the regular season schedule: Dec. 25 in Cleveland, and at Oracle Arena on Jan. 16. Christmas can't come soon enough.
Hatred in sports is healthy. Hate it or love it. Just remember to respect it. the @NBA is bringing the hate back. And the fans love it! 💯
