Watch Kawhi Leonard obliterate the Detroit Pistons

Kawhi Leonard is about to become a real-life superhero.

Kawhi Leonard is already recognized as one of the best defenders in basketball. But this season something to watch will be his offense, and whether he can leap forward as a go-to scorer; someone the San Antonio Spurs can run their offense through on a nightly basis.

The Detroit Pistons don't need any more convincing, after Leonard dropped 21 points (in 28 minutes) on them Sunday night. Watch the destruction below:

Leonard is averaging 17.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per 23.9 minutes through four preseason games. He's been unstoppable, shooting over 40 percent from behind the three-point line and living at the charity stripe.

Is this the year he gets universally recognized as a top-10 player? It very well should be.
