The Spurs are serious.

The San Antonio Spurs are once again one of the two best teams in basketball. Surprise! But this iteration might be their best yet.

Here's more information on the team's second-best start in franchise history, per the San Antonio Express-News:

The Spurs have the third best offense and first best defense in the league. They're absolutely stacked at every position and keep rolling over opponents regardless of who Gregg Popovich plays and who he chooses to sit.

It's incredible, and it's time they get more attention.

The only team that started faster than this team was in 2011 when the Spurs jumped to a 23-3 start after 26 games. That team raced to 61 victories — fourth-most in team history. But the playoff gremlins caught up with them once post-season play began as they were upset by Memphis in the first round of the playoffs, sparking the trade to acquire Kawhi Leonard in the draft.
