The Sacramento Kings enter yet another week riding high.  They just pulled off an overtime win against the NBA’s best team so far this regular season in the Golden State Warriors.  It was an exciting game on the second of a back-to-back and just great win for the Kings.

This week ahead looks promising for Sacramento.  They play four games this week all at home.  The competition is pretty stiff, but it should be another good barometer to see if the Kings are playoff material.

Game 52 vs Chicago Bulls

When- Monday, February 6th at 7:30 pm Pacific

Where- Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA

The Chicago Bulls come for their annual trip to Sacramento on Monday.  They are currently the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference and defeated the Kings two weeks ago in Chicago.

Jimmy Butler is questionable to play with a heel injury so stay tuned to see if the Bulls have their star player against the Kings.

Game 53 vs Boston Celtics

When- Wednesday, February 8th at 7:30 pm Pacific

Where- Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA

The red-hot Boston Celtics invade Sacramento on Wednesday.  The Celtics have won 7 straight games as of this writing (February 6th) and currently have the second-best record in the Eastern Conference.

Isaiah Thomas has been on fire during the win streak.  He is averaging 35.3 points, 4.3 three-pointers made, 2.7 rebounds, 7.4 assists, and 1.1 steals per game with shooting 52.0% from the field and 96.8% from the line on 9 attempts per game.  It has been an unbelievably hot run for IT.

Game 54 vs Atlanta Hawks

When- Friday, February 10th at 7:30 pm Pacific

Where- Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA

The third game of the week for the Kings and third current playoff team to do battle with on Friday.  The Atlanta Hawks have the fifth-best record in the Eastern and seem to be healthy and hitting their stride as the stretch run approaches.  This should be a good measuring stick game for the Kings.

Game 55 vs New Orleans Pelicans

When- Sunday, February 12th at 6:00 pm Pacific

Where- Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA

Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans come to town for a Sunday showdown in Sacramento.  Davis, still just 23 years old, has been phenomenal this season.  He is averaging 27.8 points, 0.5 three-pointers made, 12.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.3 steals, and 2.4 blocks per game in 36.2 minutes a night.  Anthony Davis is a force to be reckoned with and it will be a great battle against DeMarcus Cousins come Sunday evening.
