Sacramento’s star, DeMarcus Cousins, has made headlines for trade rumors each of the last few NBA seasons.

According to Slam Magazine, Cousins feels now is the time to change his perception as a player on the way out. Cousins, of course, recognizes that it’d be hard to change the "spin" of his carer. Instead of talking about his recent charity work, Cousins tends to attract attention for his on-court temper. But Cousins thinks he’s bigger than that.

"I want my legacy to be here, I want my number in the rafters here," says Cousins, in the feature. "I want that storyline to be he changed things around in Sacramento."

As Cousins make a push for a playoff run with the Kings, he hopes he can turn it into a regular occurrence each season.
